This is a very interesting video from a senior software engineer who’s sharing his team’s experience with using AI for coding. I think he makes solid arguments throughout.

The speaker in this video really hits the nail on the head on my feelings on how to use LLMs effectively - trust but verify, use them with strong guard rails. The less you know about the problem space you’re asking an LLM to work in, the less likely you’re going to be able to discern if what they produce is valuable or accurate.
